I read an article (but can’t find it now) and then later randomly heard it on the radio that interacting with strangers is good for us. For our psyche and health.

Well I can certainly see that. I would just caution on how much interaction you may want to have. Saying hi to people can be good. As can talking to people in potentially awkward situations, like on an elevator.

As always, be aware of your surrounding and listen to your spidey senses. Listen to your gut.
