Not everyone knows where vanilla comes from. My buddy, Craig, does. He grows it.

Vanilla is from an orchid.

He gave me some on Friday when we had lunch at Little Village.

So I made vanilla bean bulletproof coffee. Maybe tomorrow, I will make chocolate ice cream with some vanilla bean for Mulan. Poor thing is suffering after have all four wisdom teeth removed this morning.

By the way, bulletproof coffee is good for brain function and is an appetite suppressant. I make mine with French pressed coffee blended with vanilla bean, Irish butter and coconut oil. Yum.
